Lime Paints
Lime paint, as a class, is one of the oldest paints known to man. To call it a paint is really a misnomer. It is actually a lime plaster thinned with water and applied with a brush. Many of the beautiful Italian finishes are actually 5 to 7 coats of lime paint. Lime paint has translucent, light-transmitting qualities not found in any other product.
The Calce Liberty Lime Paint is an unmodified, lime-based paint.
